Assistant Instructor here and I can’t find links to the 4 required problems. I looked in both learning maps and also everywhere I could find on the CASH Oregon website. Maybe I missed something in yesterday’s class?

Hi Deb, thanks for signing up to be an assistant! The proficiency problems are in the instructor shared files. For some reason I just went there and I only see Brent–at this location:

I am teaching a class this morning with Woody and I will see if I can find out what happened to the others! I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

Sorry Deb, I guess I wasn’t awake yet when I replied earlier. The link I sent you is for the corrections or additional info Ruth sent out–the problems themselves are all in the NTTC workbook.

    Thanks for using the forum!

WHEN USING THE PRACTICE LAB, THERE IS NO BOX FOR SCHEDULE C “CHECK HERE IF YOU MATERIALLY PARTICIPATE”, IT APPEARS AS BELOW WITH CODING RATHER THAN A BOX. HOW CAN I CONTINUE?

“=”” in=”” the=”” operation=”” of=”” this=”” business=”” during=”” tax=”” year.”=””>Check here if you “materially participated” in the operation of this business during the tax year.
This box must be checked to allow a net loss on your return.

Tax Slayer claims to be working on it. Don’t think it will affect the answer to the test problem

    Hi Deb,
The “Proficiency Problem Overview”, Links to Parsons, Brent, Daniel and Nelson as modified for Oregon , and the “Proficiency Problem Checker”, are all on the CASHOregon.org website under “Volunteer” “Class Specific Materials & Syllabuses” “Oregon Tax Law & Finishing the Return” classes. They are assigned in that class, hence the location. https://cashoregon.org/volunteer/class-specific-materials-syllabuses/
